About Paul LaMonaca, CPA, MST.  Paul is a tax and accounting practitioner in suburban Washington, DC. He is a former accounting and tax professor at the American University in Washington, DC. He holds a BS degree in Accounting from LaSalle College in Philadelphia and an MS degree in Taxation from American University in Washington, DC. He is a frequent lecturer and his topics include tax matters for corporations and individuals, collection procedures and real estate. He was named as the Tax Instructor of the Year by the National Society of Tax Professionals in 1993 and 1994. Paul is a speaker at many state society tax consultant seminars and conventions.

Paul is in partnership with Don Williamson. The firm has been in existence since December 1, 1989. The firm was established as the result of a merger between Mr. La Monaca and Mr. Williamson’s individual practices which they had each established in 1986. The practice is primarily active in the tax matters of interest to individuals, small businesses and self-employed. They provide consultation services to these entities and prepare tax returns at all levels. An area of particular concentration available to clients is the knowledge of the tax effects dealing with real estate transactions.

Paul is the co-author of several real estate tax articles published in the Real Estate Taxation Journal of the Bureau of National Affairs.

Cancellation Policy:  All cancellations must be made in writing.  Refunds (less a $50 administration fee) will be issued if written cancellation is received before November 3, 2017.  NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR CANCELLATIONS AFTER NOVEMBER 3, 2017.
