Last Minute Tax Update Event

We are pleased to announce that the MiSEA has started the "SOS" Program. We have designed this program to protect the value of your individual practice during periods of incapacity or death. This program is meant to be a short-term solution to provide support should you become disabled and unable to operate your practice. In the event of death (or sale) of your practice, we are currently negotiating a working arrangement with advisors to assist you with all the details and legalities.
Click here for a short power point presentation for your review. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Gary Skop at (734) 464-3660 or [email protected] for further details.
Welcome to the MiSEA!

MiSEA Mission Statement: To advance the recognition of the professionalism and expertise of the MiSEA members throughout the business, public and private communities and to further enhance the members with professional and personal growth through education, promotion, mentoring and advocacy.
About the MiSEA: The Michigan Society of Enrolled Agents (MiSEA) is the professional organization of Enrolled Agents in Michigan, and the Michigan affiliate of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA). Enrolled Agents are the only nationally licensed tax professionals, authorized to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service for audits, collections, and appeals.
The enrolled agent profession dates back to 1884 when, after questionable claims had been presented for Civil War losses, Congress acted to regulate persons who represented citizens in their dealings with the U.S. Treasury Department.

Classes may be available Live Online so you may attend from your location. Instructors are knowledgeable MiSEA members who are EAs dedicated to helping participants pass the SEE. Students will receive live instruction, testing to ensure mastery over the materials, and continuous support and encouragement throughout the process.
Our Special Enrollment Examination (SEE) prep course is taught in 3 separate parts (Individuals; Businesses; and Representation, Practice, and Procedures) which correspond with the format of the exam required to become an Enrolled Agent.
Please join us in welcoming our new MiSEA Chapter Administrator, Scott Newell!
