MiSEA Board of Directors 2026 Nominations
MiSEA is a strong & vibrant organization thanks to the dedication, commitment, & involvement of our volunteer leaders & active members. Our affiliate wants to continue its education expansion, outreach to EAs & potential EAs, and advocacy on what an EA is to Michiganders so that we can continue to grow & develop our membership. We have opened nominations for the following Board positions: President, Vice President, and three Directors. Nominees for President and VP must have served on the Board for a minimum of two years. All positions are to serve a two-year term, November 1, 2026 - October 31, 2028. Nominees must be an EA and a MiSEA Member. Nominations must be received no later than Friday, August 7th, 5 pm. After all nominations are received, the Nominating Committee will publish the results for the general membership's review. A nominee must have a minimum of two nominations and accept the nomination to be put on the ballot. Voting by electronic ballot will occur starting August 17, 2026, and end August 28th at 5 pm. The new board members will be sworn in at our Annual Membership Meeting on October 26th at 4:30 pm, associated with the Fall Educational Conference in Frankenmuth at the Bavarian Inn.
